  80 Years   1922 - 2001
Foreword by the Headmaster
Mr. Peter Ross

It is indeed a huge honour for me to be the Headmaster of the College at this very important time when we celebrate our 80th Anniversary.  On a number of occasions I have used the following quote, and do not apologise for using it again:  “Everyone has a special gift to give to others.  If you listen to the wisdom of your heart, you will know what it is.  The secret of happiness is to use your special gift.  The secret of wealth is to give your gift to others.”  Deepak Chopra in Child of the Dawn.

We have taken this time to make ourselves aware of our own position in the College. The main focus of these celebrations has been to call our community of students, educators and parents to a moral regeneration.  This is a call that the leaders of our country have asked us to embrace.

It seems appropriate at this time of the year, with Spring upon us, that we use the metaphor of rebirth.

Once we have looked at ourselves we can then look outwardly to all that we are involved in, with that we can ask the question,” what can I do for others?”

We would like to think that this time that you spent with us has allowed you to either reacquaint yourself with the College or that you have been impressed with the College or that you have been impressed with who we are!

We would really like to make ourselves available to you in the future so that we can continue to build a future for our children within the structures that have been laid down over the past eighty years.
